Answer:

The minimum is at x = -2

Explanation:

f(x) = (x+2)^2 -3

This is in vertex form

f(x) = ( x-h)^2 +k where (h,k) is the vertex

Since this is an upwards opening parabola the vertex is the minimum

f(x) = (x- -2)^2 -3

The vertex is (-2,-3)

The minimum is at x = -2
