help please :). A middle-aged woman has been experiencing pain in her abdomen. When she visits the doctor. the doctor discovers that she has cancerous mass in her large intestine. Explain what is occurring at the cellular level that is resulting in a cancerous tumor.

Answer:

Cancerous masses are often cause by an overgrowth of normal or abnormal cells in a particular area. As the mass grows it can cause disruption in bodily functions wherever it may be. Since the cancer is in her intestine it would be considered colon cancer.
