The outer and inner diameters of a circular ring are

34 cm and 32 cm, respectively. Then, find the area of ring

Outer diameter= 34cm

Outer Radius= 34/2= 17cm

Area= πr^2

Area of outer ring= 3.142*17^2

Area of outer ring= 3.142*289

Area of outer ring= 908.038cm^2

inner diameter= 32cm

inner Radius= 32/2= 16cm

Area= πr^2

Area of outer ring= 3.142*16^2

Area of outer ring= 3.142*256

Area of outer ring= 804.352cm^2

Hence the radius of the ring is

=Area of outer - Area of inner

=908.038-804.352

=103.686cm^2
