Answer:

Since M is the Midpoint.

M(-7,1)

A(-4,-4) N(x,y)

From Midpoint Formula

-7 = -4 + x/(2)

-14=-4+x

x=-10

1=-4+y/2

2=-4+y

y=6.

N has the points (-10,6).

Hope this helps!

Answer:

Solution given:

A(x1,y1)=(-4,-4)

M(x,y)=(-7,1)

N(x2,y2(x,y) let

we have

midpoint(x,y)={(x1+x2)/2,(y1+y2)/2}

(-7,1)={(-4+x)/2,(-4+y)/2} comparing corresponding value

-7=(-4+x)/2

-14=-4+x

x=-14+4

x=-10

and

1=(-4+y)/2

2=-4+y

y=4+2

y=6

coordinates of N is (-10,6)
