∆x = (4--4)=8

∆y = (7--3)= 10

Explanation:

distance is given by;

d² = (∆y)²+ (∆x)²

d = √((∆y)²+ (∆x)²)

d = √((4+4)² + (7+3)²)

d = √((8²) + (10²))

d = √(64+100)

d = √164

d =12.806 units
