Do you think Juliet should have been so quick to forgive Romeo for what he did?

Yes, if Romeo didn’t kill Tybalt then Tybalt would’ve killed Romeo, so it was self-defense justifying his actions, so I believe it was okay for her to forgive him.
(hope that's what you were referring to in the question)
