Okay. This can be solved by plugging the coordinates in.

For a, y is 6 and x is 5.
So... 6-6=3(5-5)
6-6=0 and 3(0)=0
A is correct since 0=0

I know a is the answer but I like to look at all of them.
-5-6=3(1-5)
-11=3(-4)
That one is false.

C: 5-6=3(6-5)
-1=3(-1)
-1 does not equal 3

D: -3-6=3(4-5)
-9=3(-1)
-9 does not equal -3

And finally, E:
-1-6=3(-1-5)
-7=3(-6)
-7 does not equal -18

In conclusion, your answer is A:)
