Explanation:

$log_(3)x(x+ 30) = log_(3)64 \\ x(x + 30) = 64 \\ {x}^(2) + 30x - 64 = 0 \\ x = 2 \: or \: x = - 32$

-32 is rejected because in logarithms you cannot use negative value so x=2
