Explanation:

m=differences in y value over differences in x values .

i.e y²-y¹ over x²-x¹

so 1. 6-2/5--4

which will be 4/9

the slope is 4/9 or 0.4

2. 3--5/7-5

which will be 8/2

the slope is 4
