Step-by-step explanation:

Let the distance the kite and a point directly under the kite be ‘d’.

tan = opposite/adjacent

tan(50) = d/95
tan(50) x 95 = d
d ≈ 113.2 ft

h = d + 3 = 113.2 + 3 = 116.2 ft
