Solution:
Note that:
Given expression: (x² + 4x) − (x² + 6x − 3)
Remove the brackets
(x² + 4x) − (x² + 6x − 3)
=> x² + 4x - x² - 6x + 3
Combine like terms
x²(1 - 1) + x(4 - 6) + 3
=> x²(0) + x(-2) + 3
=>
-2x + 3
