x/7= tan (30)

multiply both sides of the equation by 7 .

7•x/7=7• tan (30)

simplify both sides of equation x=7π3/3

the result can be shown in multiple forms exact forms x=7π3/3

decimal form x=404145188...

tan(30) = ((x)/(7) )\\x = 7*tan(30)

After this step, find the button on your calculator that says 'tan' and type n 30 degrees, then press enter or the equal sign or whatever button you press to calculate.

You should get that tan(30) = 0.5774

Now plug that back into the equation


x = 7 * 0.5774 = 4.0415 (approximated)
