No we are going to make x the subject. To do this we are going to transpose by just multiplying each side by 2 (it’s basically doing the opposite of what is happening on the x side).

The 2 * 2 on the x side is cancelled out.
x = 10/3 * 2
Now we multiply to find x.
x = 10/3 * 2
x = 20/3
Now turn it back to a mixed fraction.
x = 6 2/3
