Answer:

A) it depends. If they bought 10 calculators, we would multiply 31.25 by 10. 31.25x10=$312.50

B)Divide 500 by 31.25. Since each calculator is $31.25, we divide $500 by it to see how many they can buy with $500. 500/31.25=16
