3+2(15-11)

The first thing I did was

Change the (-) to a (+)

2) 2*15 = 30
3) change the 11 to -11
4) 2*11 = -22
5) 3+30+(-22) = ?

Explanation:

3 + 2(15 - 11)

Step 1: use distributive property

2 x 15 = 30

2 x -11 = -22

3 + 30 + (-22)

3 + 30 - 22

Step 2: using PEDMAS, add the first two numbers

3 + 30 = 33

33 - 22

Step 3: subtract the last two numbers

33 - 22 = 11

First solve the bracket
3+2(4)

Then multiply with 2
3+2*4
3+8

Then add 3 and 8
11
