That is :


  • 40 \degree + 40\degree = 3x + 20\degree

  • 80\degree = 3x + 20\degree

  • 3x = 60\degree

Therefore, value of x is 20°

And the measure of missing angle is :


  • 3x + 20\degree

  • (3 * 20\degree) + 20\degree

  • 60\degree + 20\degree

  • 80\degree
