X°, y° and z °are three angles lying on a straight line having vertices at same point. If y° =45° and z °=86°. Find the value of x.

Explanation:

The sum of angle on a straight line is 180degrees, hence;

x + y + z = 180

x + 45 + 86 = 180

x + 131 = 180

x = 180 - 131

x = 49degrees

Hence the value of x is 49degrees
