Answer: -3/8

Do the same for the numbers underneath: 2 times 4 = 8

The final answer is the fraction -3/8

The fraction cannot be reduced further. Why not? Because 3 and 8 don't have any factors in common other than 1.

\rightarrow (1)/(2) * ( - 3)/(4)


\rightarrow \: (1 * - 3)/(2 * 4)


\rightarrow( - 3)/(8)
