Javi has a bag of marbles that are identical in size. He has 6 red, 4 blue, 7 yellow, and 3

orange marbles. If he draws out two marbles from the bag without replacement, what is the
probability that the first one is red and the second one is orange?

Answer: 50

Explanation:

40% of 50 is 20.

We know that 20 of the 50 are plums.

below is just other bits of the problem

There's 30 fruit left.

We know that the ratio for peaches to apricots is 2:3.

If we add 2 and 3 together we get five.

Five divides into 30 six times.

Meaning, we could have 18 apricots, and 12 peaches.

Add all of these numbers together, and you get 18 apricots, 12 peaches, and 20 plums.

18 + 12 + 20 = 50
