Answer:

0.8214

Explanation:

We have

F(x) = 1/b-a

With b = 7

And a = 0

Such that we have

1/7-0

= 1/7

Probability of x> 1.25

7-1.25

= 5.75

1/7 x 5.75

= 0.8214

Therefore the probability that a randomly selected passenger has a waiting time more than 1.25 minutes is = 0.8214.

Thank you!
