A triangle has exterior angle measure, one at each vertex, of 6x, 6x, and 3x. What is the value of X?

Explanation:

The sum of angles at any one vertice is 360°.

Sum of angles (exterior and interior) = 3 x 360° = 1080°

The interior area of a triangle is always 180°. Hence exterior area = 1080° - 180° = 900° = (6 + 6 + 3)x

15x = 900°

x = 60°
