4. Which option identifies the missing element in the following scenario?

A gardener is hired to develop a Japanese garden for a client’s home. The home itself already demonstrates strong elements of Japanese design, with seasoned wood decking, simple, clean lines and panels, and broad visual beams. The garden area has expanses of stone and areas of sand, stepping stones, beautiful Japanese maples, and soft ferns. These groupings are all in keeping with Japanese aesthetics.

there are already many japanese plants, so not the iris. I don't see any water features here and I have no idea what a fence will do. Also I don't see a reason for a spirit gate, so the answer should be a water feature.
