NHSC's role is to make healthy communities by supporting qualified medical, dental and mental health care clinicians which are working in those areas of the country where there is limited access to care and health facilities. NHSC programs provide scholarships and student loan repayment to health care professionals in exchange of their services. They take service commitment to practice in designated areas across the country where there is a shortage of health care professionals. In my opinion good facilities for residence and higher pay will definitely attract the doctors to reside and practice in the rural areas of the country which automatically enhanced the care of people that lives in distant rural areas.
