She will ride 13 miles in one hour

Explanation:

(8 2/3) / (2/3) = x / 1....8 2/3 miles to 2/3 hr = x miles to 1 hr

cross multiply

(2/3)(x) = (8 2/3)(1)

2/3x = 26/3

x = 26/3 * 3/2

x = 26/2...which equals 13....she will ride 13 miles in 1 hr
