Answer: 30 eggs

Explanation:

Given

Mrs. Jones bought 120 eggs

She used two-third for baking cakes i.e.

\Rightarrow 120* (2)/(3)=80\ \text{eggs}

Remaining eggs are
120-80=40\ \text{eggs}

She used on-fourth of the remaining for baking cookies i.e.

\Rightarrow 40* (1)/(4)=10\ \text{eggs}

Eggs left after baking cookies

\Rightarrow 40-10=30\ \text{eggs}

She is left with 30 eggs
