Given

perimeter is 62

Side 1 - 3x+5

Side 2 - x+2

Solution,

2(3x+5+x+2) = 62

4x+7 = 31

4X = 24

x = 6

Now substitute the value of x to get the sides

Side one - 3x+5 = 23cm

Side two - x+2 = 8cm

Answer- the length of the longest side is 23 cm
