For each value of x, we have:

`y =x +3`

`y =-2 +3 =1` ------
`(-2,1)`

`y =0 +3 =3` ----

`y =2 +3 =5` -----
`(2,5)`

`(b)\ y = (1)/(2)x - 2`

`x = \{-2,0,2\}`

For each value of x, we have:

`y = (1)/(2)x - 2`

`y = (1)/(2)*-2 - 2= -3` ------

`y = (1)/(2)*0 - 2= -2` ----
