Area of triangle = 1/2 * base * height

Area of triangle = 1/2 * 8 * 6 = 48/2 = 24 in²

Area of semicircle = 1/2 * πr²

Radius = 4 in

Area of semicircle = 1/2 * 3.14 * 4² = 25.12 in²

Area of composite figure :

Area of triangle + Area of semicircle

(24 in² + 25.12 in²)

= 49.12 in²
