It is a factor.

Explanation:

its definitely a factor

rule: put (x-2)=0

so x = 2

now put this 2 in the equation as x


2^(3) -4*2^(2)+3*2+2

which equals to 0, as a result its a factor

you can check the sum in the calculator by yourself
