A box has 14 identical balls, three of which are blue, then two balls are drawn at random from the box, one after the other without replacement. Calculate the probability that
(i) the two balls are both blue
(ii) Atleast one ball drawn is blue.​

Answer:

3/91 ; 36/91

Explanation:

1) favourable event/ total possibilities * favourable event/ new total possibilities

3/14 * 2/13 = 3/91

2) it is simplier calculate the probability of the opposite event (no balls are blue)

11/14 * 10/13 = 55/91

91 - 55 = 36

final answer 36/91
