Answer:

y varies as √(x+5)

Explanation:

y varies as √(x+5)

y= k√(x+5)

k is a constant connecting the two sides.

therefore

k=y/√(x+5)

k=4/√(-1+5)

k= 4/√4

k=4/2

k=2

Y when x=11

y=k√(x+5)

y=2√(11+5)

y=2√16

y=2*4

y=8
