(3x+3)/(x+7) =
(38)/(19) = 2 ( multiply both sides by x + 7 )

3x + 3 = 2(x + 7)

3x + 3 = 2x + 14 ( subtract 2x from both sides )

x + 3 = 14 ( subtract 3 from both sides )

x = 11
