The sum of a triangle's sides is

34.5 cm. The shortest side is
7.5 cm and the middle-length
side is 3 cm longer than the
shortest side. Find the length
of the third side and classify
this triangle by the lengths of
its sides.

Explanation:

Therefore the third side should be less than 12+15 = 27cm

And also the third side cannot be less than the difference of the two sides

Therefore, the third has to be more than 15-12 = 3cm

Thus, the third side could be the length more than 3cm and less than 27cm.
