5) A weak economy and weak industry destroys the higher chances of winning in war. The economy has to be strong due to all the expenses that need to be paid throughout the war and when the war starts to effect the people of that economy, it will become hard in the future to grow back to the original state if destroyed. The weak industry would be problematic because of the demand weapons and supplies must be at during war. If your don’t have a good industry then you won’t have enough materials.

3) they believed that states had the right to leave the Union. In fact, they called the conflict the War for Southern Independence.They also believed the North had caused the war

4) one side being the north wanted slavery completely gone,they thought it was wrong but others being the south wanted it to expand out west.
