QUESTION :-

f is inversely proportional to √ g . When f = 8 , g = 25 Work out f when g = 16

ANSWER :

By question , f is inversely proportional to square root of g. In mathematical form ,

\implies f \propto (1)/(\sqrt g)

Let k be constant . So that ,

\implies f =k (1)/(\sqrt g)

When f = 8 , g is 25. So that ,

\implies 8= k\frac{1}{\sqrt {85}}

\implies k = 8√(25)

Hence the value of constant is 8√25.

So that when g is 16 ,

\implies f = 8√(25) * 1/ √(16)\\\\\implies f = 8*5 / 4 \\\\\implies \boxed{ f = 10 }

Hence the Value of f is 10 .
