The weight is the mass times the acceleration due to gravity

Weight = mass*acceleration-due-to-gravity\\\\84N = 12kg* acceleration-due-to-gravity\\\\acceleration-due-to-gravity = 84N / 12kg\\\\acceleration-due-to-gravity = 7.0 m/s^2

Thus the acceleration due to gravity is 7.0m/s^2.

Hope that helped!
