How did you or someone you know help others through music?

Music therapy is a scientifically proven method of reducing depressive symptoms, anxiety, stress, feelings of loneliness and being left behind. Me and many others have recommended those in need to listen to music of their favorite kind. The psychological effects are powerful: improving cognitive performance (i.e. during a test), improving memory, sleeping better, more motivation. Serotonin!
