A can of tuna is in the shape of a cylinder. The distance around the top of the cylinder is approximately 251.2 mm. The tuna company plans on making the cap opener the length of the radius of the top. What will the length of the cap opener be?

So to find the radius by using the circumference you can do it multiple ways but I’ll show you this way. 251.2/3.14=80 this is the diameter. Now to find the radius you’ll divide the diameter by 2 80/2 which is 40mm. 40mm is the approximate length of the tuna can cap opener.
