( 80/100) × A = ( 40/100 ) × B

Divide both sides by 40/100

( 80A/100 )÷( 40/100 ) = ( 40B/100 )÷(40/100 )

2A = B

Divide both sides by A

2A ÷ A = B ÷ A

2 = B/A

B/A = 2 × 100

B/A = 200 %
