Omar owns a stall selling handmade

cosmetics, and wants to launch an e-
commerce site. He has lots of
experience selling his products in
person at markets, but is now hoping
to reach more customers online
Can you advise Omar on how to
make both his online and online
business successful?

Answer: He should focus on duplicating his successful offline marketing efforts to an online audience

Explanation: Offline marketing efforts cannot be duplicated while marketing online. You need to use different methods while promoting your business online. Selling at a cheaper price online will decrease his profit margins so it is not a feasible way of doing business. He has to create separate segments for online and offline audiences. He should use different marketing methods to engage them. Paid advertising isn’t the only way to promote his business, he can also use organic search as a source or he can even promote his business on Social Media for free.
