Solution:-

The equation of any straight line can be written as in slope intercept form as -

where,

  • m is its slope
  • c is its y-intercept.


\leadstoComparing the equation y = -7x+2 with the standard form of the equation, we get -


  • \quadm= -7

  • \quadc= 2
