Answer:-

\longrightarrow \sf Slope = -7

\longrightarrow \sf y-intercept = 2

Solution:-

The equation of any straight line can be written as in slope intercept form as -

\green{ \underline { \boxed{ \sf{y=mx+c}}}}

where,

  • m is its slope
  • c is its y-intercept.

\leadstoComparing the equation y = -7x+2 with the standard form of the equation, we get -

  • \quadm= -7

  • \quadc= 2

Hence,

  • slope of y=7x−2 is - 7
  • y -intercept is 2
