HELP ME PLEASE!!!!!!

A yellow backdrop can be used to convey happiness and can add energy to a shot, but its intensity can overwhelm viewers over time, so it's good to use what colors with it?

A. Light colors to blend
B. Pale colors to contrast
C. Darker colors for contrast

I'm sure it's not the first one since my textbook says a backdrop and a subject should NOT blend... But I have no idea what the answer is!!!

C. Darker colors to contrast.

Darker colors can make a vibrant color a little less vibrant so if you add darker colors to the picture then it wont be as blinding
