Explanation:

The 2 horizontal lines are 10 and 3 units long.

The vertical line is 9 units long.

By Pythagoras the length of the sloping line

= sqrt(9^2 + 7^2)

= sqrt(130)

= 11.4017.

Perimeter = 10 + 3 + 9 + 11.4

= 33.4 units.
