Answer:

(x+3)² + (y+2)² = 49

Explanation:

To graph the circle that has centre of (-3,-2) with a point (-3, -9) on it.

First, let us write the equation of the circle

The equation is expressed as;

(x-a)² + (y-b)² = r²

(a, b) is the centre

r is the radius

r = √(-9-(-2))² +(-3-(-3))²

r = √(-9+2)² +(-3-(-3))²

r = √(-7)²

r = √47

r = 7

Get the equaton

(x-(-3))² + (y-(-2))² = 7²

(x+3)² + (y+2)² = 49

This gives the required equation

Graph the circle which is centered at (-3, -2), and which has the point (-3, -9) on-example-1
