The answer is 10! You can also use PEDAMS
4 + ( 4 X ( 5 - 2)] ÷ 2-example-1

4 + [4 × (5 - 2)] ÷ 2

= 4 + [4 × 3] ÷ 2

= 4 + 12 ÷ 2

= 4 + 6

= 10

note : division, multiplication, and parentheses are done before addition or subtraction (except those listed in parentheses)
