Simplify √27x². I know the answer is 3x√3, but my teacher wants me to show how I solved it and i dont know how...please help.

Explanation:

Expand √27x² in such a way that it is the :-

  • Product of at either two or more perfect square numbers or,
  • Product of two or more numbers out of which one (or more) is a perfect square number.

So ,


√(27x^2) = √(9 * 3 * x^2)= 3 * √(3) * x = 3√(3)x
