(3x - 5) + 2(5x - 10) + 2(6x + 25) = 540

3x - 5 + 10x - 20 + 12x + 50 = 540

25x + 25 = 540

25x = 540 - 25

25x = 515

x = 515 / 25

x = 20.6

Answer:

\huge\boxed{\sf x = 20.6}

Explanation:

We know that the sum of interior angles of a pentagon is:

=> (n-2) *180

Were n is the no. of sides

=> (5-2)*180

=> 3 * 180

=> 540

Hence, The sum of interior angles of a pentagon is 540.

So,

=> 3x - 5 + 6x + 25 + 5x - 10 + 5x - 10 + 6x + 25 = 540

Combining like terms

=> 3x + 6x + 6x + 5x + 5x - 5 + 25 + 25 - 10 - 10 = 540

=> 25x + 25 = 540

=> 25x = 540 - 25

=> 25x = 515

Divide both sides by 25

=> x = 515 / 25

=> x = 20.6

\rule[225]{225}{2}

Hope this helped!
