it is 2.8 km because if you use the pythagorean theorem you can do 9.5^2+2.8^2=98.09. the square root of 98.09 is 9.9 which is the length of the hypotenuse.

Answer:

2.8km

Explanation:

a = sqrt(c^2-b^2)

a = sqrt(9.9^2 - 9.5^2)

a = sqrt(7.76)

a = 2.78567765544

Round that to 2.8 and there's your answer
