Alright, first lets knock out the rectangle. This would be found by doing L * H. For the length it would be 14. For the height, it would be 12.

14 * 12 = 168

Next with the triangle, it has a length, or "base" of 8 and the same height of 12. For a triangle, do (B * H) / 2 as the formula.

(8 * 12) / 2

96 / 2

48

Now, combine these two values to get the total:

168 + 48 = 216 cm^2
