To round find the hypotenuse, use the Pythagorean theorem which states that A squared plus B squared = C squared which is the answer to our problem. Then find the square root of the solution and voila.

Use the Pythagorean theorem. (a^2)+(b^2)=(c^2)

(3^2)+(7^2)=58

Then the square root of 58 is 7.61577 rounding that to the hundredths gives you 7.62
